Like Snake in Brawl, Pit’s taunt, when used under specific circumstances, gives players information about the enemy fighter. Giving players an attainable goal right out of the gate might get in the way of those magical moments tucked away in the crevices of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Anything they find on the way there will feel like a distraction, no matter how great it is.
